Job Overview

We are looking for a Sales Manager for our sales team. You will manage your team to deliver the sales and profit targets and grow the business across the region.

In this role, you’ll be expected to organise, train and lead a group of sales representatives in order to help them achieve company sales targets. You will set local and regional sales targets, drive team performance and advise the company about sales performance.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in sales and clearly demonstrate a solid knowledge of the industry. He/she must be open to travel.  If you are a high achieving, ambitious and results-oriented sales professional, we will love to meet you!

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and execution of an effective sales strategy.
  • Ensure sales priorities and efforts are in line with agreed sales strategies and plans.
  • Achieve sales objectives through effective planning, setting goals, analysing past performance data and project future performance
  • Analyse sales and management information in order to make informed decisions.
  • Prepare and monitor sales & customer service forecasts and budgets.
  • Plan and track team performance to ensure that budgets, timelines and performance goals are met.
  • Assure sales forecasts are based on accurate information and reasonable assumptions.
  • Oversee development, implementation and review of Customer Business Plans to ensure quarterly and annual revenue goals are achieved.
  • Meet with current and potential customers in an effort to build long term relationships, build our company’s brand, and increase sales.
  • Plan and coordinate training programs for sales staff.
  • Interview, hire and train new sales and customer service team members.
  • Perform other duties as required by the position.

 

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of previous sales management and customer support experience.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
  • Master’s degree in business, management or related field will be preferred.
  • Must have a track record of achieving sales goals and the ability to demonstrate they can plan and execute sales strategies.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical skills.
  • Must have the ability to ‘lead by example’ and effectively coordinate with multiple departments including Marketing, R&D, Quality & Manufacturing, Finance and Logistics.
  • Strong negotiation, verbal communications and human relation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and make sound recommendations and business decisions in a fast paced environment.
