After completing his BComm degree at Rhodes University and a brief stint working in a large bank, Michael began his recruitment career in May 1997 at Kelly Personnel. He moved to Australia in March 2000 and began working for Hays in Brisbane CBD. In Feb 2001, Michael took the opportunity to move to the Gold Coast, where Hays had established a new office. In Aug 2003, Michael founded Trend Personnel, specifically to focus on growth businesses and employers of choice, whilst ensuring the job and company requirements of candidates are satisfied. This resulted in a better match of candidate with employer and as a result, a longer term, stable employment opportunity. Michael has extensive experience recruiting people across all levels of white collar roles, from graduate to executive, and across multiple industries. Michael has built up an extensive network of clients and candidates in almost 25 years of recruiting in QLD and across Australia.
