Originally from Scotland, I arrived in Australia in December 2012 after 6 year's recruiting across both the Human Resources & Information Technology industries. A mad football (soccer) enthusiast, I joined the Recruitment world in 2007. Following a successful spell specialising within HR recruitment, I could see the Digital revolution happening across the Globe and knew I had to be a part of it. With a passion for advancing technologies, I love to learn and talk about all things Digital. Although I am not a developer, I love to 'develop' my knowledge across various Digital silo's including Development, Design, UX & Marketing. I aim to build trust and respect through transparency and honesty. I aim to become a Recruitment Partner to the businesses I work with and don't believe in 'one-off' relationships. I like to take the time to get to know the companies I recruit for, their culture and Modus Operandi to ensure a thorough and reliable knowledge. And I strive to understand my candidates, what their key motivators in their next career move are and what environment makes them tick and thrive. I will meet with every candidate I work with and will ensure full confidentiality. Most of all, I love what I do and I am passionate about making a difference in our industry.
