If you think about that, you'll do things differently", Warren Buffett I spend my time getting to know the best marketing and communications people in market and I place them with customers who want to build and protect their reputations by having the best people on their team. People who specialise in marketing, communications, corporate affairs and brand are my specialty. A little more about my background: Born and raised in Ireland, I started my career in hospitality working with some incredible people and gaining experience that enabled me to travel the world. Seeking adventure, I moved to Australia and met my husband and transitioned to the world of recruitment. Working with specialist firms I spent the first chapter of my recruitment career (over 12 years) working with the best Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Change Communications and HR Executives in Melbourne, Sydney and Asia. I led teams of recruitment consultants specializing in permanent and contract appointments. This experience taught me so much about the business world and I soon fell in love with the recruitment industry. In 2014 my husband decided to open our first restaurant on the Mornington Peninsula, The Winey Cow. What was initially going to be a short break in my career, to bring this dream to life, ended up being an eight year adventure. We built three restaurants in three years and soon were operating a $10million business group and employing over 80 staff. We own and operate The Winey Cow in Mornington VIC and are soon to open The Winey Cow Main Beach QLD. I continue to lead and oversee the Brand Development for both of our hospitality venues. Combining my business experience, recruitment and leadership skills, I returned to the recruitment industry in 2021 to lead the executive search practice in Melbourne at Sharp & Carter before relocating to Queensland from Victoria. I now lead the marketing and communications practice in Brisbane and have returned to the disciplines I am most passionate about and have always specialised in - those responsible for building, scaling and protecting brands.
