My journey to this role was sparked by a desire to try something new and exciting. A friend of mine recommended the world of recruitment, and I decided to take the plunge. This is my first experience in the recruitment industry, and it has been an eye-opening adventure. One valuable lesson I've learned is that working in recruitment is like running your own business within a larger organization. It requires a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to thrive. If there's one piece of advice I could offer to anyone seeking work or looking to develop their career, it would be to follow your passion. When you do what you genuinely enjoy, success is bound to follow, and the journey becomes even more rewarding. What I enjoy most about my job is undoubtedly the people. As a Recruitment Consultant, connecting with individuals, understanding their aspirations, and helping them find the perfect career path is an incredibly fulfilling experience. I can't imagine doing this role without a genuine love for working with people. Outside of my work life, a good weekend for me involves indulging in some of life's simple pleasures. I enjoy starting my day with a delightful brunch, going for long walks with my dog, and spending quality time with friends and family over a glass of wine and delectable food. I am currently attempting to learn Spanish and when the weather allows, I play very social cricket with girlfriends in the summer.
