I’m a Senior Recruitment Resourcer at Trade Assist, specializing in warehousing, manufacturing and engineering. Originally from Wellington, I now split my time between the capital and Hawke’s Bay, where my main focus is expanding Trade Assist’s presence in the region. It’s been an exciting journey working with some of the world’s leading brands and building long-term partnerships. For me, recruitment is about more than just filling positions. It’s about truly understanding the needs of both clients and candidates. I’ve always had a can-do attitude and a commitment to getting things right, which has helped me grow into my current role. I take on the responsibilities of a Senior Recruitment Resourcer with sincerity and care, always aiming to make a positive impact wherever I can. The best part of recruitment is knowing I’ve helped someone find the right opportunity, whether it’s helping a client find the perfect fit or guiding a candidate towards their career goals. I believe success in recruitment comes from staying connected and building strong relationships. Consistent communication can uncover opportunities and insights that may otherwise slip through the cracks, and I’m all about making those connections count. Outside of work I’ve been a keen chess player for over 20 years. I love the strategic challenge it provides, it's a great way to keep my mind sharp. I also enjoy pairing a good wine with a delicious meal, always looking for ways to appreciate the little things in life and the moments that make each day unique.
